Amanda DePinto is a Chicago based actor. Originally an Italian Jersey girl, she moved to the midwest and received a BFA in Acting from The Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, where she studied both contemporary and classical theatre styles. Local Chicago theatre credits include I Wanna Fucking Tear You Apart (Fat Theatre Project), Who’s Town/What Town (PlayGround-Chicago), and Alice in Wonderland (Berger Park Playhouse). Amanda also has film credits local to Chicago.
Amanda has always been passionate about the art of storytelling and its ability to challenge artists and audiences to find love and shared humanity through difference.
As a queer woman, Amanda has always felt empowered by work that centers the strength and resilience of women and allows them to explore femininity outside of patriarchal expectation. It brings her joy to collaborate on projects that give women and the queer community the space to make our stories and voices heard. Advocacy and community are central to Amanda's ongoing work.
